Game Updates & News / Re: Dev Log
« on: April 08, 2019, 01:58:26 PM »
I really appreciate the details as always. I've been trying to do more demos myself, so its great to compare results. At Berlin Talk and Play (https://berlingamescene.com/talkandplay/), a developer focused twice a month meetup, I get avg. 4 emails for 3 hours of time (and it costs 2 beers on average). I've demoed twice and I expect I will saturate that niche fairly soon but it seems good low hanging fruit due to its locality.

I love the demo hydra, I was concluding a similar thing myself that the bottle neck is the number of devices. I'me getting a chrome cast to send the main device to a HDMI, for the passives, and a few extra devices would help too.

Awesome stuff Ross, thanks for taking us on this journey.

Game Discussion / My OP Mage, Assassin, Gladiator Deck
« on: December 28, 2018, 01:31:56 PM »
My deck maximizes manipulation of enemy positions (gravity, grapple, gladiator), and fast drawing through my deck (Mage power, Mana Surge and other low cost arcane cards).

I bid 2 for starting turn, so I have 1 mana to cast mana surge if I am lucky. Or otherwise I jsut use turn one to lay a trap, assassin advances, and gladiator gets in a save position a bit behind. I discard pretty much everything that can't be used for enemy manipulation, though I usually keep bloodlust for the gladiator.

On turn 2 I can very often now pull the enemy with their back into the assassin for a backstab x10, followed by actively backstabbing for another 10 to kill.

I captured it on video which I will post later as youtube is being dead slow.

Urgh, on second thoughts I can't make that, it clashes with another important meeting :(
